That yellow book (no, not that one) is out again, and with its release come the Five Wisden Cricketers of the Year. The selections tend to raise a bit of controversy, and there will be plenty of people who’ll be upset at the choice of, say, Ian Bell – or at the selection of Jacques Kallis as the Leading Boring Cricketer in the World.
Surely no-one can argue with the inclusion of Chanderpaul, though? If anyone tries, he might pull out his revolver. In any case, he’s bound to be excited – he obviously loves awards.
