Cricket, like most sports, has never been a stranger to controversy. And surprisingly enough, it seems the Australians are often involved (although not always as the perpetrators).
First, there was Bodyline (or ‘leg theory’, as it was euphemistically known at the time).
Also involving our friends from down under, there was the case of the aluminium bat, as well as the infamous “Underarm Incident“.
